Les Topines — Lagon Ceramic Coffee Set, 2026

Designed around the ritual of coffee, Les Topines is a handcrafted ceramic set composed of two cups and two individual saucers.

The collection combines soft, rounded forms with the warm, earthy character of Xing stoneware. Sections of exposed clay are paired with the vivid Lagon glaze, whose deep blue and turquoise tones create striking contrasts and fluid variations across the surface. The result is an expressive yet balanced set, where colour, material and form come together in a playful composition.

The saucers are shaped by hand using the slab-building technique, while the cups are individually formed on the potter’s wheel. Each piece is fired in an electric kiln at 1250°C, producing a durable stoneware body and allowing the glaze to develop its distinctive depth and tonal variation.

Because every piece is handmade and reacts individually during firing, subtle differences in colour, glaze distribution, shape and texture are part of the set’s unique character.
