Les Nacres — Ceramic Cup and Saucer Set, 2025

Designed for intimate and quiet rituals, Les Nacres is a handcrafted ceramic set composed of two small cups and two individual organic-shaped saucers. Created for a coffee shared between two people or a slow moment enjoyed alone, the set brings a sense of calm and intention to everyday pauses.

Its softly irregular silhouettes and luminous pearl-white glaze create a delicate harmony of form, texture and colour. Inspired by natural surfaces and the subtle iridescence of nacre, each piece has a tactile, almost sculptural quality that conveys lightness, refinement and quiet contemplation.

The saucers are shaped by hand using the slab-building technique, while the cups are individually formed on the potter’s wheel. Made from white stoneware and fired in an electric kiln at 1250°C, the set combines artisanal character with a durable ceramic finish.

As every piece is handmade, slight variations in shape, glaze and texture are part of the production process and make each set unique.
