Our story

At Casa Andina, we merge sustainability, craftsmanship, and creativity to offer timeless beauty. Our philosophy is rooted in slow fashion, where every piece tells a story. We reclaim high-quality materials, combining handmade textiles from indigenous communities of the Andes, Mediterranean, and Middle East with recycled fabrics—from surplus rolls to upcycled garments. Each item embodies the values of simplicity, sustainability, and artistry.

Our in-house workshop meticulously shapes each creation, ensuring superior quality and precision. Our craftory offers bespoke services for clients seeking one-of-a-kind garments designed to last a lifetime. We see personalization as an opportunity to connect art and design with the stories of those who wear our creations.

Casa Andina is more than a brand—it’s a lifestyle.

We offer a space where creativity and community come together. Here, you can share a mate, participate in workshops, and experience events that celebrate craft, culture, and tradition.

our lifestyle

We live by a vita lenta—a slow and intentional rhythm that reconnects us with nature and life’s essence. Having stepped away from the rush of urban life, we now live in harmony with the Mediterranean, cultivating our own food, raising animals, and grounding ourselves through daily rituals like year-round sea baths.

our designs

This deliberate way of living is what gave birth to Casa Andina. Our designs reflect the coherence between our lifestyle and our creations. They carry with them the stories, inspiration, and authenticity that define a life in connection with nature and heritage.

the origins

Casa Andina was founded by Micaela Paglayan, an Argentinian of Armenian descent, and Muneer Fulayfil, originally from Bahrain. Together, they created Casa Andina as a reflection of their shared passion for sustainability, art, and cultural heritage.

Our store

Our flagship store is located in Tricase, in the heart of Salento, Puglia—a region where Mediterranean charm and tradition inspire everything we do. Casa Andina is a place where you’ll find more than just clothing, accessories, and home objects; you’ll encounter art that connects generations and values.

our mission

Our mission is to offer experiences that transcend the material. We invite you to become part of a cultural narrative that honors ancestral craftsmanship while reinterpreting it with a contemporary approach. Let yourself be captivated by the stories woven into every fiber and take with you more than just a product—take a piece of our essence.
