Wine Altos Las Hormigas - Malbec Clásico
Wine Altos Las Hormigas - Malbec Clásico
Variety: Malbec.
Vineyards: The grapes come from the vineyards of Luján de Cuyo, a region with a semi-desert climate featuring hot days and cool nights. The soils have good water drainage and a fine silt-sandy composition.
Winemaking: The Malbec Clasico 2018 is made from hand-harvested Malbec grapes. After a careful selection process, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts: fermentation occurs in stainless steel at a temperature of 24-28 °C for 10 days. The wine is then aged for a minimum of 9 months in concrete tanks.
Characteristics: The Malbec Clasico 2018 is characterized by a bright purplish-red color. On the nose, there are notes of fresh red plums, as well as hints of strawberries and a subtle peppermint note. On the palate, it is intense with a silky texture, highlighting red fruit aromas with an interesting hint of pepper.
