Les Nacres — Ceramic Coffee Set, 2025
Designed for intimate, quiet rituals, Les Nacres is a handcrafted ceramic set composed of two small cups and one organic-shaped serving plate. Whether used for a coffee shared between two people or for a solitary pause, the set invites a slower and more contemplative moment.
The softly irregular forms and luminous pearl-white glaze are inspired by natural surfaces and the subtle iridescence of nacre. Each element combines delicacy with a tactile, sculptural presence, creating a refined balance between functionality and artistic expression.
The serving plate is shaped by hand using the slab-building technique, while each cup is individually formed on the potter’s wheel. The pieces are made from white stoneware and fired in an electric kiln at 1250°C, resulting in a durable ceramic body with a distinctive, textured finish.
As every piece is handmade, slight variations in shape, colour and glaze are part of its character and make each set unique.
